About Jolie & Jax
Hey y’all — I’m Erica, the owner and designer behind Jolie & Jax, a family boutique rooted in Southern charm, Louisiana pride, and a whole lot of heart.
For 11 years, I worked as a special education teacher. But during my second pregnancy — with my daughter Jolie — I found myself craving a creative outlet. I started making leather bows, which turned into fabric bows, which turned into designing my own custom prints inspired by the culture I love. Before long, I was sewing kids’ clothes and selling them at weekend craft shows, heading back to the classroom every Monday.
In 2023, life pushed me to pivot. I left my teaching career, sold my house, moved my kids into an apartment to keep them in their school, and took a leap of faith. That leap became Jolie & Jax — named after my two kids, Jolie and Jaxon, and built from the ground up with them in mind.
Everything in the store is either designed or hand-picked by me — from buttery-soft baby sets to men’s 5XL shirts, bold Louisiana prints, beaded earrings, bows, and freeze-dried treats. I believe in celebrating the culture that raised me, dressing kids in clothes that spark joy, and giving families fun, wearable pieces that tell a story.
Owning a store is chaotic, but it’s the kind of chaos I’m proud to call mine.
Thanks for being here — I hope you love Jolie & Jax as much as I do.
